There are several nice trails in Mission Viejo.The Oso Creek Trail is really nice, there are so many beautiful trees and a stream you think you were on vacation somewhere in nature. One thing you might not know is almost every afternoon a breeze come in though the trails. It is magical how you can almost always count on it around 3pm.
Lake Mission Viejo is a very special location. You can see a concert there in the summer time or rent a party boat that holds up to10 people for a very nominal fee. Foghat, Richard Marx,The Temptations and Peter Frampton are a few of the artists that have played in the past. The sunsets are really beautiful on the lake and there is always something fun to do there.
Mission Viejo has a lot of nice events going on throughout the year. It is a very well planned city that is host theThe Mission Viejo Nadadores, a swimming community that has brought 12 Olympic Gold Medals and 7 Olympic Silver Metals in the Olympics. It is run by volunteers parents at the foundation who dedicate hundreds of hours on a monthly basis to the sports of swimming and diving.
